WillyDog's House
This is Martin Young's home page at Davidson College. I am a junior physics major and plan to soon be an engineering major at Ga. Tech in Atlanta, Georgia, my home town. This page is really just a bit of fun: a chance for me to learn a little more about the Web and a little more about today's computers. As a physics major at Davidson, I have been asked to post some of my work on the Web, so this page also provides me with a spot to "publish" some writings and information I have put together about the experiments my classmates and I have been performing. You'll find the links below. This page is very, very new so it may be fairly skimpy and boring, but I'll add more interesting things soon.
Let me warn anyone who wishes to read on: if you are not familiar with undergraduate physics, this stuff is going to sound like jibberish. I'm no genius, so I write my reports on a level that is not too complex, but the stuff is still not everyday conversation material. As far as sharing my own work, I'd prefer to post a paper on philosophical ethics or the state of post-colonial Ghana. I might post... well, no, I won't put them on here, but the point is that the physics terminology and theories are less familiar to most people. Mine certainly aren't groundbreaking, but if you're interested, go right ahead and dive in (just click on the blue, underlined titles).
