SSlider

Methods and Properties

{Defined in UNIT SSlider.PAS}

The Science Tools Slider, SSlider is derived from the Delphi TScrollBar class. Unlike TScrollBar, this object can return a real number. You should not use the TScrollBar.Position property since this is gives an integer position of the object that is usually tied to screen pixels. For example, to read or set the value for a slider that represents frequency you would use:

Freq:=FreqSlider.Value;

or

FreqSlider.Value:=5.0;

The slider has a feature that allows you to tie its value to an SNumber.Value property using the sliderís Delegate property. If the delegate is set then whenever the slider is moved the SNumber will update its view to show the current value of the slider.
