During the laboratory session, you observed the motion of an electron in a magnetic field and, then, the motion of an electron in crossed E and B fields. For your postlab, let's look at the motion of a particle in an electric field only.
Click Start to begin the exercise. You will see
a particle projected into an unknown electric field. Suppose the particle
has a mass of 1 mg and a charge of +2 microC. Find the magnitude of the
unknown electric field. You can click drag on the screen to measure the
x-position and the y-position in meters.
