Instructions

Physics educators are encouraged to send us public domain video clips for inclusion in this data base. Files may be in AVI, QuickTime, or MPEG format but should not be larger than 2 Meg without special permission. Each clip submission should include a TXT or HTML file that has the same root name as the clip. For example, if you "PUT" a file called COLLISION.AVI into this directory you should also "PUT" a file called COLLISION.TXT. If you submit an HTML file it should contain an anchor to your movie. You may ZIP or TAR both clip and text files into a single archive. Please include author and copyright information in the text file. Anonymous FTP your video clip files to 152.42.32.64. You will be in a subdirectory on this server called FTP_Incoming.

Clips will eventually be moved to an indexed subdirectory. WWW users will be able to search for movies in this subdirectory using a keyword search that will access all words in the text files associated with the movies. You may access the movie database by pointing your browser at: http://webphysics.davidson.edu/Welcome.html or http://152.42.32.64/Welcome.html
