Examples Using PlotFunction
Be sure the simulation has finished loading before you begin.
Instructions
Click on the problem number to initialize the graph at the top of the page. (You may need to
click a second time on some computers to refresh the drawing.) Then answer the
question. Click and drag inside the graph whenever you are asked to draw a function.
- Problem 1
A graph of position as a function of time is shown. Sketch the velocity as a function of time.

A ball is dropped, hits the floor 1 second later, and bounces back to its orignal height.
Sketch the velocity as a function of time for the first two seconds. Check Answer.
