John A. Cowan Jr.

Hi, I am a senior physics major from Cartersville, Ga. I have just finished an honors thesis on Laser Cooling and Trapping of cesium atoms. Along with this research, I have created a computer simulation which accurately depicts atoms being cooled and trapped. (Check it out!) As you can tell I play football for Davidson and if you want to find out more about that check out "The Meat Head's Corner." I have some pictures from some of my travels at the bottom of this page and if you really what to know something about me, look at my resume. If you want to see some of the work I did as a junior, check out my "Junior Projects" page. Next year I will be attending the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. I hope you enjoy my homepage and have a great day!!
