Trial #2 Results

Peak #1 is similar to the peak in Trial 1 at 45 degrees and using Bragg's Equation to solve for d for the plane in question we obtain a spacing of 4.25 cm. Notice that the plane through the crystal is parallel to the surface and thus rotated 0 degrees through the plane.

Peak #2 located at 35 degrees corresponds to a plane that is approximately rotated 10 degrees (45 - 35 = 10) through the crystal.

Peak #3 corresponds to a plane that is approximately rotated 18 degrees through the crystal.

Likewise, Peak #4 and Peak #5 correspond to planes rotated approximately 26 and 34 degrees through the crystal.
