Ripple Version 4

Ripple is designed to show wave interference effects. Point sources can be added using JavaScript to specify the position, amplitude and phase of the source.  Although Ripple can be used in interactive mode, it can also be scripted using a JavaScript. This feature requires a Java 1.1 capable browser with JavaScript to Java scripting capability.  Please see the demo pages below.

Ripple is free for non-commercial educational use as outlined in the conditions of use.

Ripple was written by  Wolfgang Christian.

New Features:

Ripple now supports the addObject method to add circles, rectangles, and other geometric objects to the display.

You can now drag objects in display mode.  The ripple movie will be recalculated when the mouse is released.

Limitations:

All sources must have the same frequency.
