Tragedy visits all

Physics fun at The University of Georgia

Like walking on hot coals, when Prof. Campbell came to Athens to visit Prof. Happek. (This was a sort of physics demo on heat conductivity--or the lack thereof).

When not working my favorite pass time is still riding. Here I am with the latest two wheeler. Notice the addition of the funny little thing in my lap. (Soon to be riding partner.)

Of course it hasn't taken long for my favorite pass time to change. (But then we haven't found a small enough helmet yet.) Although if Nicholas continues to eat as he does now, it won't be long. Here is this years school picture.

I consider it proof positive that a well posed photo can make anyone look tame. The one below is a bit closer to the beast in its natural habitat.

Finally, it did actually snow here a few weeks ago. Nicholas couldn't

wait to nail me with a snowball (I think his mother had encouraged him

a bit). Anyway, I happened to have the camera so he got caught in the act.

(sorry about the huge size on these, I'm still learning to use the scanner.) Hope you enjoyed this trip into your professor's life. Now get back to your homework.
