I'm always looking for students to work with me in my lab, either for credit during the schoolyear or for a stipend during the summer.^*  We are using optical and electrical techniques to characterize some novel semiconductor materials in collaboration with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.  The new semiconductors, designed to convert sunlight into electricity, are under investigation for more efficient solar cell technologies.  If this sounds interesting, please see me!
