Abstract: Java-based interactive physics problems, Physlets, have been incorporated throughout the Davidson introductory physics sequence including homework, pre-labs, and class preparatory exercises. Surveys indicate that students believe that these types of problems help them visualize concepts presented in class. A strong correlation between Physlet-based exercises and FCI scores supports their perception. Examples of Physlet-based curricular material will be presented.
