Description

Shown is the time-dependent wave function and the real (red) and imaginary (green) parts of the probability density for a particle in a finite  square potential energy well of length a = 2.   The wave function evolves with time according to the TDSE.  You may change the state by choosing either State1 or State 2. 

Questions

1. Are the states shown eigenstates of the finite potential energy well?  
2. Why or why not?
