Description

These animations show the real (red) and imaginary (green) parts of three wave functions.  Assume x is measured in cm and time is measured in seconds.

  1. Assume wave function 1 is correct for a particle of mass m.  Which of the other functions could be valid free particle wave functions for this same particle?
