Instructors may post Physlet problems for non-commercial use on their own class-related websites.  Instructors may not otherwise distribute or publish them without express written permission from the authors of this material.  Instructors wishing to author and post their own Physlet problems should consult the conditions of use below.

Commercial use of Physlet Problems from this project, or edited versions thereof, in printed or electronic form requires the written permission of Mario Belloni.

Conditions of Use

Under the conditions noted below, Physlets may be used for non-profit, educational purposes without requesting permission from Wolfgang Christian.

1. That the text and script of Physlets Problems, that is, problems that make use of Physlets to provide animation, visualization, or other types of educational content, be placed in the public domain for other noncommercial use.
   

2. That Davidson College should be credited as the source of the Physlet on at least one HTML page of the instructional unit where these applets are being used. (An instructional unit would be a course or a collection of problems with a unifying theme.) The logo on the right or simply the name "Davidson College" with a link to the Davidson College Physlet archive serves this purpose.
   

3. Credit does NOT have to be given on every problem or HTML page that contains a Physlet problem. We encourage instructors to make the integration of Physlets into their curriculum material as seamless as possible.
   
4. PER publications containing results obtained using Physlets will reference the Physlets website. Please share your work! Authors who have written Physlet problems and posted them on the Internet are encouraged to send us a short email with a link to their problems. Links will be posted on the Physlets site's page.

Commercial use

Commercial use of Physlets®, that is the Java Applets, requires the written permission of Wolfgang Christian.
